Summer in Val Badia and the Dolomites
Memorable, sun-kissed days
Everyone knows spending your summer in the mountains will do you a world of good – and that applies even more to the Dolomites in Val Badia. We’re far away way from loud, chaotic tourism hotspots – come and enjoy unspoilt nature and all it has to offer. There’s something for everyone, from the most adventurous hiker to the most relaxed couch potato. See you soon.
Summer makes the Dolomites stunning
We won’t plan your day – our guests can do whatever takes their fancy and not feel the peer pressure to reach that summit within a specific amount of time. Our guesthouse is the starting point of many paths leading to the breathtaking Dolomites, specifically heading towards the Puez-Odle Nature Park and the Sas di Putia. If you’re a fan of everything cycling – road, MTB, or gravel – then the legendary Passo delle Erbe and incredible dirt and single tracks await you. If you’d rather relax in our garden and enjoy a bit of the dolce vita, please do – or you can head to the Sitting Bull Ranch, just a stone’s throw from us, and ride a horse. Whatever your plans, summer here is always one you’ll remember.
Ladin culture for everyone
Visit Castel Torr di San Martino in Badia and its interesting Ladin Museum, library, and summer activities. Explore Val dl Ert (Art Valley) and its outdoor exhibitions, following a route surrounded by nature which will leave you breathless before such beauty. Valle dei Mulini isn’t too far away – dive headfirst into the ancient traditions of the Ladin population. Summer in Val Badia isn’t just hikes and cycling – you can explore places where art and culture meet, representing the Ladin beliefs of the past, present, and future.
Winter’s snowfall in Val Badia
Pristine white as far as the eye can see
Ski, sleigh, and snowshoe walk during the day – at night, come back and rest in our small guesthouse surrounded by nature. That’s what makes Pension Torr so magical, after all – just a stone’s throw from the Plan de Corones ski resort, and near the Dolomiti Superski resort and its legendary Sellaronda. The guesthouse is also at the centre of an extensive network of typical, beautiful Dolomites’ paths and trails.
