Once upon a time in Val Badia…
The Dolomites, as raw and beautiful as it gets
Time stands still, a perfect little bubble protecting us from everyday chaos. Our family-run guesthouse has never been interested in chasing after luxury. We take things one day at a time here, overlooking San Martino in Val Badia with a fairytale view of the Sas dla Crusc. That’s all the luxury we need. Summer and winter bless our guesthouse with a sea of flowers or a blanket of white, pristine snow. This is where peace and quiet reign supreme. Luxury at all costs can be found elsewhere. Our luxury is based on the simple things in life.
Simple rooms, blissful stay
Good old keys
We don’t have key cards – just good old keys you have to turn into the lock to open your room. Our hospitality is based on the simple things in life, and making a genuine connection with our guests. What you see is what you get. Open the windows to enjoy a stunning view of the never-ending meadows stretching at the feet of the Dolomites. Unpack your bags later. Take your time – everything else can wait.
Just like Nonna made it
A tasty breakfast
What makes a meal good? Its taste. And taste is key at breakfast. Savour the heady scent of bread and jams first thing in the morning. Order a good glass of wine at our bar. And enjoy traditional, mountain meals rooted in Ladin traditions. Pension Torr is home to the little things in life. Because even the simple things are bursting with goodness.
Flowers and summer in the Dolomites
Your pocket of tranquillity
Summer in the Dolomites takes on a whole new meaning from our little pocket of peace and quiet. From here, bask in the long days of sunshine, the blooming meadows, the nearby paths and trails, and the Passo delle Erbe for the more seasoned cyclists. Everything is within reach of this Dolomites’ oasis. Pure perfection.
Away from chaos
A slice of heaven on Earth
When winter comes, the Dolomites become even more spectacular. And from our guesthouse, they seem so close you can actually touch them. We’re far away from the hubbub of loud tourism but still close enough to the Dolomiti Superski lift facilities. And even if skiing isn’t your cup of tea, there’s plenty of meadows and forests you can explore on your snowshoes. Pure bliss.
